DIVINA HUMANA 1er Chapitre " Fès Anima"

Some places are like some men, a soul is dwelling in them... I am untertaking a work: DIVINA HUMANA, in the shape of photographic survey missions, about "The presence of Beauty in every day life...", about the holly spirit into the human condition (from 2005 to 2012). The first chapter called "Fez Anima" (Fez Medina) is made during 12 trips over a period of 1 year, in Black and White and medium format. The purpose is to approach, to tame and to restore magic, mystery, elegance, gentleness, and "the presence of Beauty in every day life, that the Western world cannot give any longer because it lost it." (Titus Burckhardt). The fragile reality of a temporary scene which will necessarily become (like any other medinas), a big industrial bazaar for tourists, emptied of its men, of its artists, of its craftsmen, emptied of its essential spirit. Through its 7 chapters: Fez, Sevilla, Cairo, Roma, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Mecca, produced from 2005 to 2012, the intention and substance of DIVINA HUMANA is to slightly lift the veil of appearances, to perceive and to embrace the light touch, the turmoil inspired by the quiet grace that binds Men in spite of their visible differences. DIVINA HUMANA, "Some places are like some men..." will be conveyed by a series of exhibitions (Aix, Marseille, Montpellier, Paris, Barcelona, Firenze...) and by a limited number of original prints.
